Role Description
We are developing a bench of fractional CFOs for deal specific situations. As a Strategic Fractional CFO in the GovCon, Cyber or defense sectors, you will provide high-level financial strategy and guidance to private equity-backed government contracting organizations. Daily tasks include overseeing financial planning and reporting, analyzing financial performance, and collaborating with leadership to drive growth and achieve financial objectives. You will also support compliance with government regulations and contracts, ensuring the organization's financial health and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Financial Planning and Finance, with the ability to guide strategic decision-making and long-term growth initiatives.
- Proficiency in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements and conducting Financial Reporting to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Outstanding Analytical Skills to assess complex financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Experience working with government contracts and a deep understanding of the financial requirements specific to the GovCon sector.
- An MBA, CPA certification, or equivalent financial credentials are preferred.
- Proven track record of leadership, problem-solving, and project management in high-stakes, fast-paced environments.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with executive teams and stakeholders.
