Essential Job Functions
Perform routine preventative maintenance and basic mechanical repairs on production equipment
- Maintain and calibrate soldering stations as needed
- Support 6S initiatives and keep the floor organized and audit-ready
- Assist with production improvements, documentation, and feedback to engineering
- Maintain accurate logs of maintenance and service activities
- Follow all safety and ESD protocols
- Gain proficiency in Lean Manufacturing principles and integrate them into daily practices
- Capable of working independently or in a team setting
- Willing to work occasional off-hours or weekends as needed
Education: Highschool Diploma
Experience &Skills
- Prior mechanical or maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong hands-on mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with 6S or continuous improvement practices
- Ability to read basic mechanical drawings or schematics
- Comfortable using hand tools and working around production machinery
- Comfortable troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining equipment
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Technical schooling or formal mechanical training
- If not already certified, able to complete 6S certification
