Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chiller Technician, based in Addison, TX. The Chiller Technician will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and installation of commercial and industrial chillers. Additional daily tasks include inspecting systems for efficient performance, diagnosing mechanical issues, replacing defective components, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and best practices. This role also involves collaborating with team members, providing client support, and documenting service activities and repairs.
Qualifications
- Strong technical skills in chiller maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
- Proficiency in inspecting and working with HVAC systems, especially commercial and industrial chillers
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, including electrical and refrigeration components
- Ability to work with tools and equipment for chiller installation, diagnostics, and repairs
- Understanding of safety best practices and relevant compliance requirements
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to system issues
- Strong communication skills for providing clear client support and team collaboration
- Ability to complete service documentation accurately and promptly
- EPA certification and experience in the HVAC industry are highly preferred
- High school diploma or GED; technical certification or training in HVAC systems is an advantage
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally as needed
