Your role
Purpose: Batches raw products and keeps constant feed of batched product to dryers according to process parameters, product safety procedures, quality specifications, good manufacturing practices, plant safety standards and key plant performance measures
Starting pay at $20 - $22 /hour
Objectives of the Position:
- Performs equipment set-up and pre-operational inspection of equipment to determine that the set-up is correct, equipment is clean and the equipment is functioning properly.
- Stops equipment and reports malfunctions, food safety/GMP issues, quality problems or process problems to supervisor immediately.
- Adjusts and documents adjustments or repairs to equipment to maintain process specifications and process performance.
- Inspects and monitors equipment and process performance regularly and reports problems and deviations to production supervisor immediately.
- Replenishes raw supplies such from the warehouse as needed and returns unused supplies to warehouse with completed traceability documents.
- Disassembles, cleans, and reassembles equipment after runs according to sanitation procedures. Completes proper sanitation and environmental swabbing records.
About you
Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Language Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
