Registered Nurse (RN) – Float Pool (Night Shift)
Overview
We’re seeking a compassionate and adaptable Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Float Pool team on the night shift. As part of this team, you’ll provide care across multiple hospital units, broaden your clinical expertise, and play a vital role in ensuring safe, high-quality outcomes for patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments across diverse conditions and specialties.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate individualized care plans.
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Prioritize and implement nursing interventions based on patient needs and available resources.
- Support effective communication through shift reports, safety huddles, patient rounds, and hourly rounding.
- Uphold professionalism, accountability, and patient advocacy while engaging in ongoing learning and professional growth.
Requirements
- Current RN license in Kansas (or eligibility for licensure).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), or commitment to obtain within four years of hire.

- Strong leadership, critical thinking, and communication skills.
