Registered Nurse (RN) – Float Pool (Night Shift)

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and adaptable Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Float Pool team on the night shift. In this dynamic role, you’ll provide patient care across multiple hospital units, gaining diverse clinical experience while supporting teams and ensuring safe, high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Perform accurate patient assessments across a wide range of conditions and specialties.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards.
• Prioritize nursing interventions based on patient needs and available resources.
• Support effective communication through shift reports, safety huddles, patient rounds, and hourly rounding.
• Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, ongoing learning, and patient advocacy.

Requirements

• Current RN license in Kansas (or eligibility for licensure).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), or willingness to obtain within four years of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in multiple clinical specialties.
• Strong leadership, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new patient populations and environments.
