We are seeking experienced, motivated tax professionals to join a leading team of Seasonal Local Service Experts. This unique opportunity combines in-person tax expertise, community engagement, and personalized client service. This is an on-site seasonal position requiring a consistent weekly schedule and offers the opportunity to build your local reputation while receiving full support, tools, and training to help you succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Expert Tax Services:
Prepare individual and business tax returns ranging from basic W-2 filings to complex returns involving investments, business income, and life event changes. Offer tailored advice, tax planning, and refund maximization strategies.
- Engage the Community:
Represent the company as a local ambassador, building relationships and engaging with potential clients through proactive outreach, educational events, and community involvement.
- Provide Consultative Support:
Host discovery sessions, provide tax consultations, and clearly communicate solutions using everyday language. Ensure clients feel confident and informed throughout the process.
- Drive Client Loyalty:
Foster long-term relationships by understanding client goals, delivering exceptional service, and becoming a trusted financial resource year after year.
- Support Product Use:
Assist clients in effectively using tax preparation software and online tools during in-person and virtual interactions.
Requirements
- Valid and unrestricted credential as an Enrolled Agent (EA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or Attorney
- Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
- At least 2 years of paid tax preparation experience, including 30 completed 1040 returns per season using professional software
- Familiarity with IRS Circular 230
- Must reside in the United States and be able to work on-site at a designated location
- Willing to work a fixed weekly schedule of at least 24 hours during tax season
- Ability to obtain any required state licenses, permits, or bonds
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Experience providing holistic tax advisory services beyond return preparation
- Interest in developing a personal brand within your local community through content creation, public speaking, or social media (with full training and support)
