Position Overview
Symmetry Partners is seeking a motivated and results-oriented Internal Sales Consultant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services, demonstrated sales success, and a passion for building and maintaining long-term client relationships. This individual will play a key role in driving new business, supporting company growth objectives, and representing Symmetry Partners as a trusted resource for advisors.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and market outreach.
- Convert qualified leads to new clients and increase assets under management (AUM).
- Present and explain Symmetry Partners’ full suite of investment and advisory solutions, including:
- Model Portfolios
- Tax-Loss Harvesting Solutions
- Mutual Funds & ETFs
- Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs)
- Technology and Practice Management Solutions
- Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, prospects, and industry partners.
- Collaborate with Marketing to develop targeted sales campaigns and materials.
- Track and analyze key sales metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes.
- Represent Symmetry Partners at conferences, client meetings, and industry events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Series 7 and 65 licenses required
- 5–7 years of sales experience in the financial services industry.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals with a client-first approach.
- Strong understanding of investment products and wealth management solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, self-starter, and collaborative team player.
- Proficiency in Salesforce, HubSpot, and Microsoft Office Suite
