NO Subcontracting - Direct Hire
Program Manager to support a large, highly active enterprise client based out of Chicago. These are direct-hire roles (contract-to-hire acceptable if needed) with strong urgency due to multiple data center projects launching in the next 1–2 months.
Data center experience on the physical build side is a HARD requirement.
Candidates must have hands-on experience managing data center buildouts, expansions, or retrofits (racks, cooling, integration, physical infrastructure). Candidates with only software, endpoint, or enterprise IT PM experience should NOT be submitted.

Role Distinction
- Program Manager: Initially aligned to same client; evolves into account-level role overseeing multiple accounts and partnering closely with Sales (RFQs), while still owning delivery
Required Profile
- Senior-level Program Manager (no junior candidates)
- Proven physical data center infrastructure project experience
- Strong customer-facing and communication skills
- PMP preferred but not required if experience is strong
Responsibilities:
The Program Manager (PM) is the main touch point and first escalation path for large customer engagements. The role is focused on overall account management including responsibility for all activities and resources on specific named Enterprise Services accounts. The PM is responsible for managing the Enterprise Services Project Manager(s), Project Engineer(s) and Project Coordinator(s); providing operational oversight between the Engineering and Sales teams during project planning, technology staging, installation and closure; facilitating the sale of Professional Services by properly managing client expectations; providing direction to the organization on continuous improvement to increase customer satisfaction and quality of service; and holding the organization accountable to agree upon processes. The PM must have exceptional communication skills and business acumen.
