Job Summary:
Seeking a Chief Structural Engineer to lead the engineering team and drive the design, development, testing, and continuous improvement of the company’s products and systems.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead the engineering team by providing guidance, direction, and support to ensure successful, efficient product and structure development and design.
Oversee the design and development of new products, systems and infrastructure, ensuring they meet the company's quality and safety standards.
As directed develop, plan, and conduct research and development activities to stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies
Manage technical documentation, including specifications, design documents, and user manuals.
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory requirements.
Manage budgets and timelines to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Encourage a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the engineering team.
Document design procedures, philosophy and tools that are developed for proper use and future maintenance.
Disseminate information, maintain a library of information, and host training sessions to ensure an understanding and proper application of knowledge developed.
Perform other duties as directed or required.
Qualifications:
B.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering, M.S. in Enginering preferred.
P.E. license required or ability to obtain registration within 12 months.
Minimum 8 years of precast experience in a design and project design role.
High School Graduate or equivalent.
Manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Self-starter while actively managing and bringing to resolution multiple tasks simultaneously.
Management and coaching principles.
Display calm and a customer-oriented attitude in fast-paced and sometimes stressful conditions and represent the Company in a professional manner.
Ability to think strategically and proactively, anticipate problems, prioritize effectively, and make critical decisions quickly.
Ability to meet timelines, milestones, deliverables and provide timely status updates as identified.
Excellent project management skills, including budget management and timeline tracking.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership skills.
Great attention to detail.
Strong communication and people skills to effectively manage the project teams.
Computer Skills - Microsoft Word, Excel, Mathcad, Revit, Autocad, Bluebeam, custom programming is a plus.
Salary : $120,000 - $130,000
