Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The BCBA will provide direct behavioral services to clients, oversee ABA home programs, and offer parent training and support. This role includes designing individualized treatment programs, supervising behavior technicians, and conducting regular progress meetings with parents. The ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse populations, strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based behavioral services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Provide direct behavioral services to clients in individual and group sessions.
Oversee ABA home programs and provide parent training and support.
Complete weekly program writing and maintain the client's program book (including writing programs and creating materials).
Oversee and supervise the work of Behavior Technicians who possess a caseload of children clients.
Running monthly clinic/progress meetings with parents/guardians.
Conduct behavioral and skills assessments and design treatment programs for clients.
Work with and oversee Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts and Registered Behavior Technicians, Behavior Technicians, and ABA Therapists to implement individualized treatment plans as per agency standards and BACB requirements.
Collect data and graph data as instructed using technological programs, such as Microsoft Excel or behavioral software (Rethink).
Maintain respect and confidentiality for all clients.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in professional societies.
Maintain and protect the well-being of all clients during treatment sessions and when emergency crisis situations arise.
Knowledge of medical billing for ABA and navigating insurance is preferred.
Communicate client progress and cases to the supervisor.
Be able to work with a diverse team of professionals to provide the best behavioral services possible to clients.
Attend staff training and agency meetings voluntarily.
Other job duties and/or projects as assigned by the supervisor.
Education and Experience
Possess a minimum of a Master's degree or national equivalent with a major in psychology, special education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or related field of study is preferred.
A minimum of 1-year experience working as a BCBA with children, adolescents, and/or adults with various special needs preferred.
Knowledge of medical billing for ABA and navigating insurance is preferred.

Perform general clerical duties, including maintaining accurate client records and preparing clear and concise reports.
Work independently and make decisions within the framework of established guidelines. Follow guidance from senior-level staff to enhance their own professional development.
Complete/maintain CPR, CPI, First Aid, Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (PBIS), HIPAA/HITECH/FERPA and attend workshops to further professional growth, and other training as required by ABS within the required time frame.
Clear and maintain satisfactory all mandated background checks, including criminal history background checks (fingerprinting), Central Registry of Offenders, and Child Abuse Record Information (CARI) free of disqualifiers.
Must pass a drug test in accordance with The Stephen Komninos' Law.
Ability to use data entry software such as ReThink.

Licenses
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Certification as verified through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board. The active BCBA certification should be without current disciplinary sanctions and meet an ongoing supervision CEU requirement.
