Sycamore Family Dentistry and Hopewell Family Dentistry are seeking an Office Manager to join our family dental practice. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in practice management and medical management, ensuring that our office runs smoothly while providing exceptional patient care. This role involves supervising staff, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead the dental office team, fostering a positive work environment.
- Work between both office locations in Midlothian and Hopewell with a co-manager.
- Manage day-to-day operations of the dental practice, including scheduling, patient flow, and staff assignments.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality and safety.
- Oversee budgeting processes, including expense tracking and financial reporting.
- Implement and maintain office management systems to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Utilize dental software systems, Dentrix Ascend, for patient records management.
- Coordinate with dental professionals to ensure high-quality patient care and service delivery.
- Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner.
- Train new staff members on office protocols and procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in supervising staff within a dental or medical office setting.
- Strong knowledge of practice management principles, including collections,m knowledge of dental insurance and accounts receivable.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations is essential.
- Proficiency in dental software applications is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with patients, staff, and external partners.
