Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced L2 Desktop Support Specialist to provide advanced technical support for our organization's desktop infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in desktop support, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide L2 technical support for desktop-related issues via phone, email, and in-person.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and software issues.
- Configure and deploy desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
- Manage and maintain desktop images, drivers, and software updates.
- Collaborate with L1 support to resolve escalated issues.
- Document and track issues using ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow).
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation.
- Participate in IT projects, such as desktop upgrades and deployments.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures.
Technical Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in desktop support.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Operating Systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
- Desktop hardware and peripherals.
- Software applications (MS Office, productivity tools).
- Network fundamentals.
- Experience with:
- IT service management (ITSM) tools.
- Desktop management tools (e.g., SCCM, Intune).
- Mobile device management (MDM).
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
