Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Junior Architect with approximately 3 years of professional experience to join our team. This role offers exposure to a wide variety of project types and the opportunity to work closely with senior architects and engineers in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong design ability, technical proficiency, and a willingness to engage in all phases of project development.
Responsibilities:
- Support project teams in all phases of design including site surveys, concept, schematic,
- Prepare architectural drawings, renderings, and technical documentation using Revit, AutoCAD, and other tools.
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, and civil engineers as part of an integrated project delivery process.
- Conduct code and zoning research to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal requirements.
- Participate in client presentations, design charrettes, and project review meetings.
- Assist in construction administration, including RFIs, submittal reviews, and site observations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
- Minimum 3 years of architectural experience in a professional design firm.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and other tools.
- Understanding of building codes, accessibility standards, and sustainability principles.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Progress toward architectural licensure is required. Already licensed is a plus.
