Job Summary:

The Solutions Architect will guide government agencies in their cloud journeys, designing secure architectures and providing technical expertise for cloud migrations.
Responsibilities:
• Partner closely with government clients to assess their cloud readiness and develop tailored migration strategies
• Design robust, secure, and scalable cloud architectures that meet stringent public sector requirements
• Provide hands-on technical expertise to support complex cloud migrations, including infrastructure, data, and application workloads
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product teams, solutions architects, and customer success managers to deliver exceptional outcomes
• Conduct cloud migration and modernization assessments to evaluate the feasibility of large-scale migration efforts, develop TCO and optimal migration patterns, and assist customers in migration planning efforts
• Gain expertise in migration/modernization methodologies and tools
• Collaborate with AWS partners to deliver high quality solutions to customers
• Perform technical assessments for AWS partners to help them achieve cloud migrations competency.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 2 years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
• 4 years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• 4 years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
Preferred:
• Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries
• Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
• Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective
• Experience in technology/software sales, pre-sales, or consulting
• Cloud Technology Certification (such as Solutions Architecture, Cloud Security Professional or Cloud DevOps Engineering)
