Who We Are
Network Telecommunications Services: Responsible for connectivity and communications needs for the Institute. Who We Are
Network Telecommunications Services: Responsible for connectivity and communications needs for the Institute. In addition, we manage AV operations and the telecom infrastructure inside/outside plant.
Objectives Of This Role
- Maintain centralized collaboration systems.
- Handle centralized network management.
- Deploy new network equipment and process break/fix requests.
- Monitor device health via SNMP monitoring systems.
- Cross-train into other areas of responsibility on the Network Team.
- Maintain centralized collaboration systems.
- Configuration of routing, switching and voice gateways on network equipment from various manufacturers.
- Configuration of SNMP monitoring systems.
- Documentation of network through drawings, formal documentation and change control process.
- Requires a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology or related degree field with relevant experience. In lieu of Bachelors Degree, 10 years directly related professional level voice systems administrator experience plus a current Cisco Certified Network Professional-Collaboration (CCNP Collaboration) certification.
- 6 years: Experience with on-premise Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) and auxiliary applications.
- 1 years: Experience with enterprise network routing, switching and SNMP monitoring systems.
- 1 years: Experience with Fortinet, Cisco and/or Aruba network equipment.
- A valid/clear driver's license is required.
