I'm working with an American data analytics company, looking to add a Technical Program Manager to support their team!
Location: Raleigh, NC - hybrid
Contract Duration: 6 month contract with high potential to convert
Pay Rate: $45/hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Product Owner with backlog creation, prioritization, and refinement
- Partner directly with the Program Manager, Technical Lead, and Product Manager to identify risks, issues, and mitigation strategies
- Lead daily Scrum ceremonies and Agile team activities
- Provide senior leadership with Agile metrics including productivity trends, sprint health, and backlog burndown
- Facilitate sprint retrospectives, maintain retrospective action items, and ensure follow-through
- Capture and share lessons learned, innovations, and delivery successes across the organization
- Build positive team dynamics and maintain healthy, productive collaboration across teams
- Quickly identify and resolve project dependencies and blockers with cross-functional stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of functional knowledge and experience with the application development lifecycle, or equivalent experience with 3–5 years as a Technical Program or Project Manager
- Experience managing the end-to-end lifecycle of complex technical programs
- Expertise in problem solving and analyzing global-scale distributed systems and critical production environments
- Hands-on experience with Agile tools such as Jira, VersionOne, or similar platforms
- General knowledge of DevOps capabilities including CI/CD, automated testing, and release practices
- Strong understanding of software development, QA, and system deployment processes
