Swoon is actively hiring a Sr. Salesforce System Administrator to join the team!
What your day-to-day will look like?
- Configure and Enhance Salesforce Functionality - Build, maintain, and optimize Salesforce configurations including objects, fields, page layouts, validation rules, flows, reports, dashboards, and user permissions to support recruitment and enrollment operations.
- Manage and Prioritize Salesforce Backlog and Support Requests- Execute enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and resolve user requests from a high-volume backlog while ensuring timely delivery and system reliability.
- Design Declarative Salesforce Solutions - Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate business needs into scalable, maintainable Salesforce solutions using Salesforce best practices and declarative tools.
- Partner with Recruitment, Enrollment, and Business Stakeholders - Work closely with front-line recruitment teams, enrollment leadership, marketing, and data teams to understand operational challenges, provide recommendations, and improve business processes.
- Maintain Data Quality and Integrity - Support ongoing data stewardship efforts through deduplication, data hygiene, record management, and the use of tools such as Data Loader, Workbench, and DemandTools.
- Support System Administration, Security, and Governance - Manage user access, security settings, profiles, permission sets, and system configurations while ensuring compliance with university policies and Salesforce governance standards.
- Document Changes and Participate in Releases - Maintain system documentation, process documentation, and configuration records while assisting with deployments, testing, and occasional after-hours release activities.
What’s Required / Technical Skills
- 4 years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience in a production environment, including user management, security, profiles, permission sets, and system configuration.
- 2 years of experience building and maintaining Flows, validation rules, custom objects, page layouts, record types, automation, reports, and dashboards without custom code.
- 2 years of proven experience supporting and administering Salesforce Sales Cloud environments, including process optimization and business-user support.
- Ability to work directly with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and translate needs into scalable Salesforce solutions.
- Experience managing data integrity, deduplication, data hygiene, imports/exports, and working with tools such as Data Loader, Workbench, and DemandTools.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce reporting, dashboard creation, and data model design, including object relationships and reporting structures.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users, provide recommendations, and manage multiple priorities in a high-demand environment.

Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting or administering Salesforce Service Cloud environments.
- Background supporting higher education, admissions, enrollment, student services, recruitment, or similar CRM-driven environments.
- Experience supporting Salesforce organizations with 500 users and complex stakeholder groups.
- Experience partnering with marketing, analytics, or data teams within a Salesforce ecosystem.
- Basic understanding of Apex, SOQL, Lightning Components, or the ability to work effectively with Salesforce developers.
- Experience contributing to Salesforce expansions, enterprise implementations, or major platform enhancement initiatives.
- Experience participating in testing, deployment planning, release management, and change control processes.

Hybrid Role- 3 days a week on-site, 2 days a week at home
Salary - $100,000 - $120,000
