I'm working with an exciting and rapidly growing multinational banking and financial services corporation, looking to add an Operational Risk Management Analyst to their team!
Location: hybrid in Chicago, IL
About this role:
- Support key US ORM programs, including preparation, quality review, and distribution of RCSA program reporting, control testing outcomes, operational loss metrics, and management materials.
- Maintain trackers, action logs, calendars, meeting materials, and other tools used to support program execution and governance routines.
- Support execution of risk assessment activities, including Risk and Control Self-Assessments, Change Initiative Risk Assessments, and other operational risk assessment processes as required.
- Conduct research, benchmarking, data analysis, meeting preparation, documentation, and follow-up activities to support assigned initiatives.
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, risk management, economics, accounting, data analytics, or a related field preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience in financial services, risk management, operations, compliance, audit, controls, analytics, or a related discipline.
- Foundational understanding of risk management, internal controls, governance, banking operations, or financial services regulatory expectations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with data, identify trends or exceptions, and summarize information clearly and accurately.
