Senior Product Manager, Payroll Partnerships

About the Opportunity
- We are a leading North American financial services institution looking for a driven Senior Product Manager to join our Strategic Partnerships team. In this role, you will play a central part in shaping our market performance by defining and executing product strategies to grow our high-value North American payroll referral business.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the end-to-end execution of product strategies designed to accelerate and scale our premier Payroll Partnership relationships.
- Partner closely with internal corporate headquarters, external enterprise partners, and field sales teams to plan, coordinate, and execute tactical product sales strategies.
- Leverage performance scorecards, incentives, targets, training modules, sales tools, marketing collateral, and targeted campaigns to optimize sales effectiveness.
- Work extensively with specialized corporate support teams—including Marketing, Learning & Development, and Sales Force Effectiveness—to seamlessly execute the partnership strategy.
- Build robust relationships within Retail and Business Banking sales teams to identify market barriers, deliver insights, manage escalations, and streamline processes.
- Serve as a primary point of contact and manage day-to-day relationships with major external payroll partners (such as Paychex and ADP) to diagnose challenges, identify opportunities, and deploy innovative solutions.
- Undertake continuous monitoring, reporting, and data analytics to track progress toward strategic goals, evaluate execution effectiveness, and inform data-driven business decisions.
- Effectively articulate complex ideas, performance metrics, and strategic roadmaps to both internal leadership and external partner executives.
Qualifications & Experience
- High ambition and initiative, with a demonstrated history of driving significant business results through collaborative teamwork.
- Strong background in product management, product marketing, relationship management, or sales support within financial services or corporate banking.
- Proven hands-on experience executing product strategies by successfully aligning matrixed sales organizations, corporate stakeholders, and external vendors.
- A highly collegial, team-oriented professional with the confidence to build deep relationships and act as an effective influencer across diverse business units.
- Exceptionally comfortable working with data—collecting, organizing, and analyzing key performance metrics with an unwavering attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, capable of engaging and aligning stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
