Material Handler

7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday

Our client, a well-established manufacturer serving industrial process industries, is seeking a Material Handler I to join their growing Supply Chain team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment and wants to build a long-term career in manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain operations.
In this role, you'll play a key part in keeping production running smoothly by ensuring materials are delivered where they're needed, maintaining accurate inventory, and supporting warehouse operations from receiving through shipment.
What You'll Do
- Transport raw materials, components, and finished goods between the warehouse and production areas.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.
- Receive, inspect, label, and organize incoming materials.
- Pick, stage, and issue materials to support manufacturing operations.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Work closely with production, warehouse, and planning teams to ensure materials are available when needed.
- Help maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, inventory, or material handling role.
- Forklift certification or prior forklift operating experience.
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs. regularly.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to accurately track inventory.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
