Our client, an American multinational retailer of footwear and sportswear, is seeking a Marketing Procurement Coordinator to join their team!
Location: NYC - 3 days a week onsite
Hours: 40 hours a week
Contract Duration: 6 months with high potential to convert/extend
Pay Rate: $30-35/hr
About this role:
- Own the entire lifecycle of purchase orders (POs), including creation, submission, approvals, amendments, and closure
- Manage all contracts and SOWs from intake through execution, ensuring alignment with legal, finance, and procurement requirements
- Track budgets, commitments, and actuals with a zero-tolerance approach to inaccuracies
- Own new vendor onboarding end to end, including documentation collection, system setup, approvals, and compliance
- Manage all financial and contractual activity within Shopper, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and process compliance
- Provide clear, proactive status updates on all open items, deadlines, and risks
Experience:
- 1 years of experience in marketing operations, finance operations, procurement, or a multi-vendor retail agency environment
- Proven experience in owning PO creation, contracting, invoice processing, and vendor onboarding
- High proficiency in Shopper (or equivalent financial and procurement platform)
- Exceptionally strong attention to detail and organizational skills; nothing falls through the cracks
- Demonstrated ability to push processes forward, follow up relentlessly, and escalate when necessary
- Strong excel skills for tracking and reconciliation, and reporting
- Comfort working cross-functionally with finance, legal, procurement, and external vendors
