Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Azure Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and manage cloud-based solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure technologies. This role involves developing, implementing, and troubleshooting PaaS and IaaS solutions, supporting cloud infrastructure operations, and enhancing application performance while adhering to security and compliance standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies, scripting, and infrastructure operations.
Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage Azure cloud solutions, including App Services, Functions, EventHub, Web Apps, and databases.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub, and other tools.
- Automate deployment and management tasks using scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, NodeJS, etc.).
- Troubleshoot complex issues in Azure infrastructure, application connectivity, and databases (SQL/NoSQL).
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 Azure Cloud support, including incident management and proactive monitoring via ServiceNow.
- Implement architectural designs and processes for cloud solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services with existing systems.
- Support server patching, security remediations, and infrastructure maintenance tasks.
- Document workflows, provide training, and ensure usability for business partners.
- Participate in Agile sprints to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions on schedule.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 2 years of experience in infrastructure operations or application development.
- Hands-on experience with Azure cloud technologies, including App Services, EventHub, Kubernetes, and Container Apps (preferred).
- Proficiency in Windows and Linux administration.
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, JSON, YAML, or equivalent).
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases, including query skills for troubleshooting.
- Understanding of networking concepts (IP addresses, DNS, etc.) and web-based communication for web/API applications.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Azure DevOps.
- Azure Certifications (AZ-900, AZ-104, AZ-500) are highly desired.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
