About the Role
PG&E is seeking a highly organized and analytical HR Data & Operations Analyst to support governance, reporting, operational processes, and continuous improvement initiatives within the HR organization. This role combines data analytics, case management, operational support, and process improvement in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, experience working with HR or operational data, and the ability to support multiple priorities while helping streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
• Support governance requirements related to records management and operational compliance
• Assist with daily operations through timely completion of standard work and case management activities
• Pull, analyze, and maintain data used for standard reports, metrics, KPI tracking, and operational insights
• Present findings and data insights to internal stakeholders and senior peers
• Support continuous improvement and waste elimination initiatives to streamline processes and workflows
• Review and update knowledge articles, documentation, and operational resources
• Assist with project-related tasks and collaborate with cross-functional teams on operational initiatives
• Track existing metrics and support reporting accuracy and data integrity
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders to exchange information and provide updates
• Support multiple assignments simultaneously while managing changing priorities and timelines
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong data analytics, reporting, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with case management, customer service, or operational support environments
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Experience supporting continuous improvement or process optimization initiatives
• Ability to work effectively in ambiguous and fast-paced environments
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel; experience with Project or Visio is a plus
• Experience with metrics, KPI tracking, and information analysis
• Ability to manage multiple assignments with competing deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and ability to present findings to various audiences
