Successful candidates will have 5 years’ experience in accounting and finance in a manufacturing environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Financial Statements retrieve account transactions, posts adjustments including COGS, income statements and balance sheets.
- Performs monthly close with the support of Vice President.
- Completes bank reconciliations and daily cash flow requirements.
- Structures and maintains General Ledger Accounts.
- Provides Accounts Receivable/Payable support to Accounting Assistant/Office Manager when needed.
- Engage in ongoing cost analysis and cost reduction practices
- Assists external accountants, auditors, and tax preparers including closing of year end.
- Assist with inventory control and analysis
Required Knowledge and Skillset
- Organized, with superior communication skills
- High ethical standards that include honesty and professional conduct in all circumstances.
- Negotiation and Conflict Resolution
- Experience in Manufacturing (Required)
- Experience with ERP Systems (Required)
- Experience with Infor ERP Systems (Preferred)
Education and Experience
- BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in accounting and finance in a manufacturing environment.
- Certified Public Accountant (Preferred)
