In this role, you'll lead and scale the demand generation function, driving a comprehensive strategy that encompasses account-based marketing, content marketing, and integrated campaign execution. You'll own accountability for generating pipeline and revenue through data-driven campaigns that directly support our direct sales model. This is a strategic leadership position where you'll build and mentor a high-performing team, develop sophisticated lead-nurturing programs, and partner cross-functionally with sales, revenue operations, and external vendors to optimize every stage of the buyer's journey. Your focus will be on delivering measurable revenue impact through proactive planning, agile execution, and continuous optimization across multiple channels.
Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:
- Drive and expand demand generation strategy, managing account-based marketing initiatives, content marketing programs, and integrated campaigns that generate qualified pipeline and directly contribute to revenue within our direct sales environment
- Execute campaigns across multiple channels including email, webinars, digital advertising, and innovative platforms, with rigorous attention to return on investment, pipeline generation, and revenue attribution
- Develop annual strategic roadmaps and launch campaigns with a 3 month lead time, balancing strategic planning with flexibility to test emerging tactics and new channels
- Establish and oversee lead engagement programs that deliver relevant content and messaging at each phase of the buyer's journey
- Define and execute targeted messaging for key verticals, tailoring campaigns to industry-specific needs and accelerating sales cycle progression
- Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performing demand generation team, cultivating a culture of continuous improvement and positioning team members for advancement into leadership
- Work closely with external lead generation partners and the internal SDR team to maintain cohesion across the full lead pipeline and improve conversion metrics at each funnel stage
- Collaborate with Revenue Operations to maintain optimal functionality of Salesforce and marketing automation platforms, ensuring accurate tracking, comprehensive reporting, and efficient lead routing
- 7 years in demand generation or integrated marketing roles within fast-growing B2B SaaS environments (fintech background preferred)
- 7 years of experience building and scaling results-driven marketing teams, with a documented history of driving measurable revenue impact
- Track record of developing go-to-market strategies and launching campaigns across diverse industries, with particular expertise in construction, manufacturing, professional services, or hospitality sectors
- Experience marketing to or selling with executive buyers (CFOs, Controllers, VP Finance); proven understanding of enterprise buying cycles and executive decision-making processes
- Hands-on familiarity with direct sales organizations—demonstrating deep knowledge of direct sales workflows and the ability to optimize lead funnel performance
- Expertise in demand generation analytics, conversion funnel optimization, and multi-channel performance assessment; comfortable with data analysis and strategic planning
- Background managing external marketing agencies and creating high-quality content, combined with the ability to craft compelling messaging and strategic narratives
- Strong people leadership capabilities and high emotional intelligence; ability to build, motivate, and develop teams while maintaining hands-on involvement and player-coach approach
- Compensation: $120K - $150K Bonus

Qualifications:
- 7 years driving B2B SaaS demand gen. Proven track record building pipeline and revenue in fast-growth environments. Fintech experience is a plus.
- You've built and scaled marketing teams that deliver. Experience hiring, developing, and leading teams with measurable revenue impact—not just activity metrics.
- Deep understanding of direct sales environments. You know how sales teams operate, can speak their language, and optimize marketing to accelerate deals through the funnel. Bonus if you've sold to or marketed to executive buyers.
- Data-driven with strong instincts. Comfortable analyzing conversion funnels, multi-channel performance, and ROI. You make decisions based on numbers but know when to trust your gut on new tactics.
- Player-coach mentality with high EQ. You'll roll up your sleeves while building the team's capabilities. Strong leadership skills, but you're not above doing the work yourself when needed.
