GIA provides independent and objective assurance to support the Board of Directors and Group Executive Committee in protecting Swiss Re’s assets, reputation, and sustainability. The estimated base salary range for this position for Armonk, NY, is $120,000 to $200,000, and for the other locations (Alpharetta, GA; Chicago, IL; Kansas City, MO and Schaumburg, IL), the range is between $113,000 to $188,000. The specific salary offered for this, or any given role will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to job location, scope of role, qualifications, complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent, experience, education, and employer budget. This means that we consider all components of compensation in their totality (such as base pay, short-and long-term incentives, and benefits offered), in setting individual compensation.

- Work closely with the Audit Director for Re/Insurance audits to engage relevant stakeholders, continuously update risk assessments, and help shape the bi-annual audit plan.

- 10 years of experience in external and/or internal audit or related roles within the financial services industry
- Strong knowledge of property & casualty business, including treaty and facultative reinsurance, as well as specialty lines
- Degree in accounting, actuarial science, business, or another finance-related field
- Deep understanding of the (re)insurance industry
- Strong knowledge of risk, governance, and controls, as well as internal audit methodologies, audit project management, and continuous risk assessment frameworks
- Proven experience managing stakeholders and audit teams in a global, matrixed organization
