You'll be responsible for reviewing complex inventory and trading transactions, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring alignment between physical movements and system records.
Key Responsibilities
- Validate and ensure accuracy of fuel oil and feedstock movement transactions in SAP S/4HANA
- Analyze inventory builds/draws and monitor data trends throughout the month
- Review and resolve escalated Discrepancy Error Workbench (DEW) cases
- Partner with schedulers, traders, and accounting teams to ensure proper trade and inventory representation
- Troubleshoot nomination and ticketing issues impacting inventory balances
- Execute corrections, accruals, and system adjustments as needed
- Support month-end close with reconciliation and discrepancy resolution
- Develop reports and communicate findings to management
- Identify process gaps and contribute to operational improvements
- Assist with high-volume issue resolution during critical reporting periods
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 years of relevant experience (scheduling, inventory analysis, or similar)
- Oil and gas experience required (fuel oil, crude, or feedstocks preferred)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience handling large datasets and transaction analysis
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA
- 2 years of scheduling experience in oil and gas (heavies, crude, or refined products)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Detail-oriented professionals with strong analytical skills
