- Strong organizational and inventory management skills
- Experience with requisitions, purchase orders, and vendor coordination
- Ability to analyze data and run reports (daily, monthly, and metrics)
- Knowledge of inventory control processes (cycle counts, reconciliations, BOMs)
- Familiarity with invoice processing and resolving blocked invoices
- Proficiency in relevant systems (ERP or inventory management software)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to train and support team members
- Understanding of safety regulations and quality standards
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Direct and oversee storeroom inventory
- Review open requisitions and validate order requests
- Maintain communication with purchaser and vendors; create purchase orders when needed
- Run daily and monthly reports to maintain up-to-date records
- Release blocked invoices
- Create and post cycle counts
- Run necessary metrics (cycle count accuracy, safety stock adjustments, inventories, BOMs)
- Reconcile all receipts for purchases made
- Partner with salaried supervisor to provide training, review step-up cards, and conduct health checks to remain compliant with CPS
- Ensure safety regulations and quality standards are met
