Project Manager III

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager III to lead the successful delivery of multiple HVAC and building automation projects. This role is responsible for overseeing project execution from post-sales handoff through completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in HVAC systems, building automation, and complex project management, along with proven leadership skills and experience managing cross-functional teams in a customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Program Leadership

• Lead the execution of multiple HVAC and automation projects following contract award and project kickoff.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, profitability, and resource allocation.
• Establish project governance structures and ensure adherence throughout the project lifecycle.
• Drive project milestones and deliverables to achieve customer and business objectives.

Customer Relationship Management

• Serve as the primary operational point of contact for customers throughout project execution.
• Partner closely with Account Managers to maintain strong customer relationships.
• Proactively identify and resolve project issues, risks, and conflicts.
• Advocate for customer needs while balancing organizational goals and project requirements.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Direct and motivate multidisciplinary project teams, fostering accountability and high performance.
• Coach and mentor team members while supporting their ongoing professional development.
• Collaborate effectively with engineering, operations, sales, finance, and other internal stakeholders.
• Build alignment across matrixed teams and ensure clear communication throughout the organization.

Strategic Planning & Continuous Improvement

• Develop and implement short- and long-term project and program strategies.
• Manage scope changes and communicate impacts to customers in partnership with Account Management.
• Conduct project reviews, lessons learned sessions, and project closeout activities.
• Identify process improvements and drive operational excellence across projects.

Required Qualifications

• 5–10 years of professional experience.
• Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Background in HVAC systems and automation.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive project success.
• Proven ability to prioritize work, execute plans, and deliver results.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
