Job Summary

We are seeking a Process Improvement Coordinator to support a manufacturing facility's Continuous Improvement team. This role will focus on 5S, process improvement, documentation, and production floor organization.

This is a great opportunity for a current student or recent graduate interested in manufacturing, engineering, operations, or supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Review and update 5S maps based on current floor conditions, equipment, material flow, and area ownership.
• Identify 5S gaps and improvement opportunities with Operations and Continuous Improvement teams.
• Update visual controls, standard work, and 5S documentation.
• Coordinate 5S area ownership and bimonthly audit walks.
• Collect and analyze data and support CI projects, project tracking, and documentation.
• Prepare findings, action items, recommended improvements, and final project reporting.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and project management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to work on-site in a manufacturing environment.
• Interest or experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, or Continuous Improvement preferred.
• AutoCAD or facility layout experience is a plus.
  
  

Work Environment

• Manufacturing environment requiring regular production-floor walking and observation.
• Must follow food safety, GMP, and workplace safety requirements.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
  
  

Pay: $20 per hour
