swipejobs is hiring experienced Machine Operators for a growing manufacturing operation in Antioch, IL!
If you have hands-on experience operating printing, converting, flexible packaging, paper, or similar production machinery, we want to hear from you.
📍 Location: Antioch, IL – 100% Onsite
💵 Pay: $23.00–$27.00/hour, based on experience
🌙 Shift: Monday–Thursday | 8:15 PM–6:30 AM
📅 Overtime: Half-day Fridays as needed
📈 Opportunity: Temp-to-Hire with potential Direct Hire consideration for highly qualified candidates
🔧 WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
✅ 1 year of relevant machine operating experience
✅ Experience with machine setup, changeovers, adjustments, and troubleshooting
✅ Strong mechanical aptitude
✅ Ability to identify and correct production or quality issues
✅ Experience in printing, paper converting, flexible packaging, paper manufacturing, or similar production environments
✅ Ability to stand for a 10-hour shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
✅ Dependable attendance and availability for the night shift
⭐ HIGHLY DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Candidates with experience operating Garant, Beasley, Weber, or comparable printing/converting machinery are strongly encouraged to apply.
Experience with printing presses, cutters, slitters, sheeters, winders, folders, paper bag equipment, converting equipment, or flexible packaging machinery is also highly valuable.
👉 You do NOT need experience with the exact machine brands listed above. If you have strong hands-on experience setting up, operating, adjusting, and troubleshooting comparable manufacturing equipment, we still want to hear from you!
🏭 WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
You’ll set up and operate production machinery, perform changeovers, monitor production runs, troubleshoot equipment, make adjustments, inspect finished products for quality, and work closely with production, maintenance, and quality teams to keep operations running efficiently.
