Distribution Associate II (Forklift)

Pay: $22.00/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:30 PM

Job Type: Temporary-to-Hire

We are seeking a dependable Distribution Associate II (Forklift) to join our warehouse team. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for an individual who is reliable, safety-focused, and able to work independently in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Important: The 7:30 AM start time is a firm requirement, as it aligns with daily truck deliveries. Punctuality is essential.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments and verify materials against shipping documentation.
• Inspect incoming goods for accuracy and condition.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to specifications.
• Put inventory away in designated storage locations.
• Complete shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation using computerized systems.
• Route materials to stock or inspection areas as needed.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment, including a sit-down electric forklift and hydraulic lift equipment.
• Maintain an organized and safe work environment.
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of shipping, receiving, warehouse, or distribution experience.
• Experience operating a sit-down electric forklift required; Basiloid forklift experience is preferred.
• SAP experience is highly preferred and will be given priority consideration.
• Strong order picking and inventory handling skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic reading, writing, math, and computer skills.
• Forklift certification is preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record may be required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
