What are the responsibilities and job description for the SERVER - CARVER'S CAFE position at SWINOMISH CASINO & LODGE?

Our commitment to excellent guest services is what drives us, and we are dedicated to hiring outstanding individuals who share our passion for ensuring our guests have an exceptional experience. We are seeking friendly and efficient individuals to work as servers in our dining outlets.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Responsible for the accuracy and security of their bank and receipts.
- Presents menu, answers questions and makes suggestions regarding food and service.
- Enters food orders in POS system, totals bill and accepts payment and makes change.
- Refills soda, water or coffee and responds to any additional diners needs or requests.
- Assists bussers in clearing tables, removing glassware, plates, silverware and napkins after meals.
- Wipes down and resets tables.
- Ladles soup, tosses salads, brews coffee and performs other services as determined by the outlets practices.
- Fills and replenishes condiments and creamer.
- Keeps wait station area neat clean and restocked.
- Performs specific daily and weekly cleaning duties.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be able to work varied shifts, odd hours and late at night.
- Must obtain a Food Handlers Permit within 10 days of employment.
- Must obtain a TIPS card within 60 days of employment if deemed necessary for your position.
- Must have good language and presentation skills.
- Must have basic math skills.
- Must be able to bend, kneel, squat, stand and lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
The Food Handlers law requires food handlers to be free of any disease that can be transferred through food. A current Health Card must be obtained within fourteen (14) days and a Tips Card within sixty (60) days of employment if deemed necessary for your position.
