Are you an education changemaker with a whimsical spirit? Do you find yourself on the toilet coming up with ridiculous ideas to transform education?

The Swing Set Institute is #hiring for 1-2 summer contract roles to take its whimsical education changemaker programs to the next level!! This is a contract-based hybrid role for a Whimsical Education Program Consultant, located in New York, NY.
In this role, you will have the delightful opportunity of co-creating and launching a new whimsy program of the Swing Set Institute that playfully centers educational theatre as a transformational tool of educator consciousness. Think 'Theatre of the Oppressed' with a focus on education and a silly twist! This program will highlight the power of realness and ridiculousness for education changemakers and be 'accidentally therapeutic'. What that actually looks like..we will co-create!
You will also consult on existing Swing Set program strategy and programs for education changemakers including In-Spire, Guffawed Sketch Comedy, and the Anti-Resume Party. More about the Swing Set Institute and its whimsical programs and products can be found at swingsetinstitute.org
Qualifications
Education background is a must - realness and ridiculousness preferred
Program development, facilitation, and curriculum creation experience
Entrepreneurial and innovation mindset is a plus
Theatre/Improv background may be helpful
Imperfection necessary
Also must have - whimsical spirit
$30-$60/hr depending on experience
Summer contract ~25hrs flexible to be spread out over 3 months
Nyc based mix of virtual hours and a few in person team meetings in central Manhattan.
