Description
REGIONAL AQUATICS SUPERVISOR
Full-Time | Position available in Cincinnati, OH
I. Class Summary
Responsible for the management of a region of pools under the supervision of a Regional Manager or General Manager. The position ensures the smooth, safe, and reliable operation of all pool systems and personnel.
II. Essential Duties
Works closely with the Regional Manager to ensure day to day operation of facilities within region.
Main contact and liaison, along with Regional Manager, for property managers, city officials, and board members at all facilities.
Trains all subordinates in all facets of job duties and responsibilities to achieve team goals.
In conjunction with Regional Manager responsible for opening, start-up, and winterizing all facilities as well as providing detailed off-season and capital improvement projects.
Works with administrative staff to identify, hire, place, and train all personnel for each facility
Responsible for attending all required board, city, contractor meetings and walkthroughs
Works closely with the management team to ensure that all SwimSafe standards are being implemented along with the company mission statement.
Coordinate ordering of all necessary chemicals and supplies for each facility.
Communicate regularly with the administrative and management team to update about facility, personnel, and operations.
III. Training and Experience
Bachelor degree and sufficient experience to perform the essential duties listed above. Preference given to aquatic experienced but not required.
IV. Knowledge Of
Supervisory techniques
National, State, and local swimming pool health code requirements
Contract management
V. Skill In
Demonstrated skill in directing and managing staff efficiently and effectively
Clear and effective written and oral communication
Use of a variety of computer-based technologies including word processing, and spreadsheets
Demonstrated skill in use of independent judgment
