Swimming pool Company looking for a responsible and self driven individual that takes pride in their work. You must have the ability to troubleshoot, repair and install pool related equipment. Must be knowledgeable with plumbing and electrical and pool heaters. This Company has been in business for 19 yrs. and we offer a full benefits package including insurance, sick leave, paid vacation, paid holidays and an IRA. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and service tasks on swimming pools and related equipment.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair pool equipment and systems, including but not limited to: pumps, filters, heaters, automation, and plumbing.
- Install, upgrade, and replace pool equipment as necessary, ensuring proper functionality and efficiency.
- Conduct inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.
- Collaborate with team members to provide superb quality of service.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, concerns, and providing education on pool maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of service visits, repairs, and equipment installations.
- Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in swimming pool maintenance.
- Other tasks and responsibilities as designated by management and as needed. We are a team atmosphere, we expect everyone of our team members to be able to help one another and perform additional duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Swimming Pool Service Technician or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of pool equipment and water chemistry, plumbing, electrical systems, and pool heaters.
- Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations related to pool maintenance.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Pool industry certifications (e.g., Certified Pool Operator) are a plus.
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50-75lbs, work with or near heavy equipment, and work in outdoor conditions such as extreme heat or extreme cold.
- Must be able to swim.
