Swim Club Management Group is hiring full-time seasonal Summer Supervisors!
Job Description:
As a Summer Supervisor you will serve as an assistant to the Regional Director’s during the summer months. Employment begins as early as April 1, 2022 and extends through September 30th as you are available. Ideally, at minimum, you would be available to work mid May -mid September (this is flexible on a case to case basis).
As a Summer Supervisor, your duties include, but are not limited to:
Assisting in pool openings and closings
Daily facility visits
Assisting in scheduling of seasonal staff
Assisting in teaching of in-service trainings to seasonal staff
Performing lifeguard/manager duties on occasion
Pool maintenance duties (backwashing, chemical adjustments, etc.)
Mitigation and management of pool and team issues as they arise
Supervise, direct, and evaluate the work effort and performance of seasonal lifeguard staff
Company Expectations:
During the months of May-September work on average 6 days per week
To perform visits to multiple swimming pools per workday
Flexible availability including weekdays and holidays
To provide advance notice of any time off needed
Perform job with integrity and represent the high standards of an SCMG professional
Serve as a reliable point of contact for lifeguard/managers within your assigned zone
Additional Details:
Uniforms will be provided (polo, swimsuit, etc.)
Training in pool operation, pool season opening/closing process, and pool safety will be provided
Mileage will be reimbursed at the rate of $0.39/mile
Professional Liability Insurance coverage and Workers Compensation Insurance coverage will be provided as required by law
Preferred Qualifications:
3-5 years of aquatics experience (lifeguard, manager, pool technician, etc.)
Ability to pass a motor vehicle/traditional background check and drug screen
Strong oral and written communication skills
Excellent relationship building skills
Ability to work within a team in a fast paced environment
