What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Outreach Worker position at Swift Staffing?
Part Time Outreach Worker needed for our government client in Towson. The Part Time Outreach Worker will perform routine community outreach for a countywide tobacco use prevention and cessation health program with the goal of increasing enrollment and participation. Six month contract position. The non-negotiable pay rate is $19.00 per hour.
Essential Duties :
- Canvas door to door to individuals, organizations and community groups to explain, publicize and promote the tobacco use prevention health program.
- Represents the program at health fairs, community events, classes, seminars and other gathers.
- Assembles and distributes literature, brochures, pamphlets and other related materials.
- Promotes program participation by making telephone calls and direct contact in the community.
- Develops and maintains resource lists.
- Answers telephone inquires regarding the program and provides routine information to the public.
- Assists clients submitting applications to the program.
- Collects, tabulates, updates and maintain program records and statistics.
- Assembles periodic statistical reports.
Qualifications :
We offer weekly pay via Direct Deposit, sick pay hours, health insurance, a one time longevity bonus, holiday pay and a 401K plan. Employees must work a certain amount of hours to qualify for benefits.
