Responsibilities
- Perform order picking and packing with precision using RF scanners and order picker equipment to ensure timely shipment processing
- Operate heavy machinery such as pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling of materials with appropriate safety measures in accordance with OSHA standards
- Support shipping & receiving processes by verifying inbound and outbound shipments and maintaining detailed records
- Assist with warehouse distribution tasks including stocking shelves, organizing materials, and preparing products for shipment or manufacturing processes
- Maintain mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues and ensuring optimal operation of warehouse machinery
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, including inventory management, shipping & receiving, and order fulfillment
- Valid certification or experience operating reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, AS400 or similar platforms for inventory tracking
- Strong understanding of materials handling techniques, heavy lifting safety protocols, and OSHA regulations
- Previous experience in manufacturing environments is a plus
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking throughout shifts
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
