Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain Honda vehicles to OEM specifications
- Perform warranty and customer-pay repairs with precision and documentation discipline
- Communicate clearly with advisors and shop leadership to keep work flowing
- Protect guest safety and trust through quality control and comeback prevention
- Maintain a clean, organized bay consistent with Honda standards
- Perform test drives to evaluate vehicle performance and diagnose issues
- Research technical information and consult colleagues or service manuals to solve complex problems
- Recommend preventative maintenance services to customers
- Contribute to a positive and efficient work environment within the service department
- Other duties as assigned
- Clear dispatching steady work mix to protect your flag hours
- Modern equipment, updated Honda diagnostic tools, and OEM repair information
- Built-in toolboxes provided — come ready to work
- Hands-on shop foreman who supports the team and keeps things moving
- Clean, organized shop — we take pride in our environment
- Documented SOPs to reduce friction and cut wasted time
- Consistent parts processes to reduce delays and improve throughput
- Dedicated employee parking lot right next to the shop
- Demonstrates a high "HQ" (Hospitality Quotient) consisting of kindness & optimism, intellectual curiosity, work ethic, empathy, self-awareness, and integrity
- Experience: 3 years of dealership or shop technician experience (Honda or Japanese/mainstream brand preferred)
- Certifications: Clean driving record and valid driver's license. ASE certifications and/or Honda Factory Training are a plus
- Commitment to quality, integrity, and guest care
- Hardworking, self-motivated, and eager to continue growing as a technician
- Steady communication with advisors, dispatch, and shop foreman
- Strong diagnostic and electrical skills; ability to follow OEM procedures
- Strong understanding of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Manual dexterity and the ability to perform physical tasks (lifting, bending, reaching)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
