2nd Shift Distribution Center Supervisor

Work Experience

Sweetwater is currently seeking to add a 2nd shift Supervisor to our Distribution Center (DC) team. This full-time position will provide leadership support to a DC functional area, while working alongside the Area Manager. This hands-on role requires significant interaction with team members helping strengthen the team through positive engagement, training, and performance feedback.

Shift - Monday through Friday 3:00pm to 11:30pm starting anywhere between $17 & $19 an hour.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Support organizational objectives by working with management to direct staff
• Coach, engage, and support employees
• Ensure area production standards are met
• Assist area manager by monitoring workflow and making labor adjustments
• Attend meetings and training as required
• Champion the Sweetwater culture of “do the right thing”
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
  
  

Requirements

• Proven leadership experience (at least 3 years preferred)
• Strong history of results (improved efficiencies, increased production, etc.)
• Strong analytical skills
• Effective communication skills
• Conflict resolution skills
• Must be thorough and detail oriented
• Must be dependable and available to work as needed
• Must be a team player with a positive attitude
  
  

Experience

• Prefer 3 (three) years of experience in a supervisor role leading at least 10 people
• Strong understanding of both Inbound and Outbound DC operations
• A four-year business degree or commensurate leadership experience is preferred
• Proven ability to coach employees at all levels (to include performance reviews and discipline)
