Job Responsibilities
- Clean and repair Woodwind instruments or both Woodwind and Brass Instruments
- Provide estimates on repairs for instruments
- Work on a timetable to ensure that work is completed within estimated cost/time.
- Work on customer owned and retail instruments from the student level to professional instruments
- Perform work at the hourly shop rate - with an excellent quality standard.
- Other duties as assigned including; repair clinics, working on new for-sale product, assisting with school events.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining patience and a positive attitude
- Adept to multi-tasking and time management
- High level of attention to detail and focus
- Advanced knowledge of band instruments and band instruments repair
- Lifting, pushing, and pulling of instruments in cases up to 75 pounds.
- A diploma from an accredited repair school is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience repairing band instruments
- Previous experience in high-volume shop is preferred
