Gymnastics Experience

• 5 years participation in gymnastics as an athlete/performer;
• 3 years coaching gymnastics

Teaching

• Exemplary teaching skills across multiple levels within the program;
• Strong individual teaching skills - able to achieve exemplary results;
• Excellent staff training aptitude - able to identify, organize, model, mold, and otherwise develop stellar preschool gymnastics teachers;

Leadership/Administrative

• Strong leadership skills - able to successfully supervise and manage teaching, administrative and support staff;
• Able to earn and maintain the respect and appreciation of the staff;
• Excellent organizational skills - able to oversee all aspects of program including

needs, growth, quality, scheduling, operations, and budget;

• Strong administrative skills; proficient with registration/enrollment software, basic

accounting software, basic design programs, website and marketing platforms, etc.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills;
• Superior interpersonal skills working with youth and parents.

Summary

As the Lead Gymnastics Instructor, you will be responsible for overseeing gymnastics programs and ensuring a safe and engaging environment for participants. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as you will guide a team of instructors while also teaching gymnastics techniques to students of various ages. Your core skills in sports coaching and teaching, along with premium skills such as CPR certification, will be essential in promoting safety and skill development. Additionally, your experience in preschool settings and organizational abilities will help manage class schedules and administrative tasks effectively. Responsibilities

• Lead gymnastics classes for preschool children, ensuring a safe and engaging environment.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that promote physical fitness and skill development.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and class activities.
• Oversee the gym's safety protocols, including CPR and First Aid readiness.
• Manage class budgets and administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
