- Experience working with young children (gymnastics, sports, camps, babysitting, or similar is a plus)
- Interest in gymnastics, with a willingness to learn proper skills, technique, and safe teaching practices

- The ability to keep children engaged, encouraged, and having fun at all skill levels
- Creativity in leading games, activities, and simple routines

- Participate in the planning, promoting, teaching and demonstrating skills
- Be attentive and responsive to department and gym wide announcements, calendar items, and upcoming events
- Assist the Gymnastics Director in meeting the goals and vision of the department.
- Conduct gymnastics lessons in accordance to program needs and ensures all safety and program ratios are followed
- Enthusiastically assist and cooperate in ensuring all classes are adequately covered by substituting when called upon
- Ensure controlled class management enabling equitable time for each gymnast for each planned activity
- Attend department and gym-wide meetings;
- Be flexible with your scheduling and teach classes as requested and substitute for others when called upon
- Conducts routine checks and ensures proper maintenance of equipment and facility
- Review gym and facility safety rules with new gymnasts
- Implements and follows training requirements in addition to ensuring proper reporting of all incidents/accidents according to risk management procedures
- Represent our program in a friendly, positive way and help create a welcoming environment for all families
- Greet and support members while encouraging participation in classes, events, and activities
- Build strong, trusting relationships with children, parents, and team members
- Observe and support each child’s progress, sharing helpful updates with parents and staff
- Some experience working with children (gymnastics, sports, camps, babysitting, or similar preferred)
- Basic understanding of gymnastics skills and a willingness to learn proper technique, terminology, and coaching methods
- High energy, positive attitude, and a genuine enthusiasm for working with kids
- Ability to engage, motivate, and connect with children of all ages and skill levels
- Comfortable leading activities, games, and simple routines in a fun and safe environment
- Strong communication skills and confidence interacting with children, parents, and team members
- Current Pediatric CPR Certification (preferred)
- Current Pediatric First Aid Certification (preferred)
- 6 Early Childhood Education Coursework or Credits (preferred)
Salary : $15
