What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dessert Event Crew position at Sweet Carolina Catering?
Sweet Carolina Catering is hiring ice cream scoopers and donut makers for our 2026 season! This job requires reliable, friendly and hardworking people that can problem solve independently. This is a great gig to supplement another job or while you are home from school for the summer.
Here's what you need to know...
- We are a dessert company that primarily serves hand-dipped ice cream and mini donuts We contract with the Winston Salem Dash baseball team during their home games from April-September. If you aren't available until May because of school, still apply and we can talk about it.
- This is a physical job - you are standing, lifting, bending, scooping in the heat of the NC summer - we have cooling fans, but it's still hot!
- This is a seasonal contract job - we will provide you with the schedule for the season with advance notice, you can also google it. The typical schedule for games is Tuesday-Sunday with a week off in between. Key dates we need you to be available are around father's day weekend, and July 4th.
- The fun parts...Time moves quickly, shifts are short but busy. You are working at baseball stadium which is pretty unique. Each team member gets free tickets to one home game each season!
After an initial phone interview, we host an in person interview and then schedule you for training during the first round of games in April.
