Job Title: Visiting Assistant Professor of Business (full-time) or Adjunct Instructor of Business (part-time)
Classification: Full-time, one-year, benefits-eligible, non-tenure track faculty position or part-time adjunct faculty position
Reports To: Social Sciences and Humanities Division Head
Job Summary/Objective: Sweet Briar College invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor of Business or Adjunct Instructor of Business with the possibility of renewal. The successful candidate member will teach a variety of courses that lead to a B.A. in Business with a particular focus on teaching in marketing, will have the opportunity to make contributions to our innovative women’s leadership core curriculum.

Qualifications:Required Qualifications:
- M.B.A. or D.B.A., or related degree, and a minimum of three years of relevant experience in marketing, or a Ph. D. in a relevant field;
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching and excellent communication skills

The salary range for the Full Time position is $55,000.00- $65,000.00 per year. This is commensurate with education and experience and will be determined in accordance with institutional guidelines.
The salary range for the adjunct position is $3,500.00- $5,500 per course. This is commensurate with education and experience and will be determined in accordance with institutional guidelines.
