Baker/Pastry Chef

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a wide range of baked goods including pastries, cakes, and cookies.
• Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
• Decorate cakes and pastries with artistic flair to enhance visual appeal.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen to comply with food safety standards.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to meet production goals and customer demands.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers about product offerings and taking special orders when needed.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food handling practices.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in culinary environments.
• Experience in pastry preparation and cake decorating techniques is highly desirable.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers alike.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
