As a Lead Mechanic, you will ensure the functionality, safety, and reliability of machines, engines, and mechanical systems. Responsibilities:
- Assemble and build machines or mechanical components according to specifications.
- Inspect and troubleshoot machines, engines, and transmissions to identify and diagnose issues.
- Run diagnostic tests and maintain detailed logs of all work performed.
- Conduct repairs with an emphasis on maximizing functionality and reliability.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems.
- Clean and apply lubricants to machinery components and replenish necessary fluids.
- Advise on correct maintenance practices and preventative measures to machine users.
- Undertake additional duties as required, such as repairs of hydraulic systems, painting vehicles, etc.
- Perform service calls and roadside repairs and adjustments, as needed.
- Experience with heavy equipment is a plus
