What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistance liquor store manager position at Sweeneys Wine & Spirits?
In this role, you’ll work closely with the Store Manager to handle daily operations, create eye-catching displays, manage inventory, and deliver excellent service to our regular South County locals and seasonal visitors alike.
What We’re Looking For:
- Must be 21 and have a valid RI Alcohol Server Certification (TIPS/ServSafe) or be willing to get certified immediately.
- 1 years of retail, bar, or hospitality experience (liquor/package store experience is a plus)
- A friendly, customer-first attitude with a solid knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits.
- Ability to independently open/close the shop and handle cash register balancing.
- Physical ability to comfortably lift and move cases of product (up to 50 lbs) and stay on your feet during busy shifts.
- Reliable availability for nights, weekends, and major holiday eves.
Salary : $40,000 - $45,000
